Salmon, sturgeon, steelhead, bottom fishing (for rockfish like Ling Cod and Sea Bass) and dungeness crab fishing charters on the Columbia river and Pacific Ocean out of Astoria, Oregon.

4/19/2024 Fisheries managers have announced summer and fall salmon seasons. Summer/Fall salmon page.  Summer Chinook season on the river will be short and sweet.  June 16-20.  Ocean salmon fishing will begin June 22 and run through September 30.  Buoy 10 salmon fishing (in the Columbia river) will open August 1 through September 3.  Coho salmon fishing in the Columbia river August 1 through October 15.  We hope to be your next salmon fishing guide!

Bottom fishing is alway open.  Its normally excellent. We just need an enjoyable ocean, which unfortunately, is hit or miss from now until July or so.  The good news is that winter and spring months are normally extremely good fishing if we get good conditions.

Sturgeon fishing charters in Astoria Oregon start up in May.  It does start slow around the middle of May and by the end of May its getting good.  June and July are awesome.  30-50 giant fiesty fish a day is normal.
